Title: "Some Gave All"
Year Completed: 2004
Quilt Size: 50"w x 60"h
Quilt Description: The inner section of this quilt (eagle and USA) was made using the pattern "Flying Proud" by Country Threads. The outer section was created using our very own Star Block Pattern. It took 80 hours to make. This quilt was donated in 2004 to "Operation Home Front Quilt Project" for those who have lost a family member serving in the Iraq War. I don't know if they are still collecting quilts for that project but for a complete list of all kinds of organizations that do need donations of quilts, fabric and related items, please see Helping Others Using Your Creative Skills in our Article Section.
Materials: Cotton Fabrics, Polyester Batting.
Techniques: Machine Pieced, Hand-Quilted.
