Start with the great fruit prints that are widely available now for a contemporary look or start with a more traditional fabric palette. 2. Choose your favorite method of applique. 3. Create a yo-yo trimmed border or keep it plain. 4. Make a plain fabric fruit bowl or applique an abstract design. 5. Embellish with fruit ceramic buttons, regular buttons, beads, or yo-yos.
